"Blue Cat's Haven" is a mixed media collage made up of a gelli printed cat, and painted and gelli printed embellished papers. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork.

All the papers used in this collage were painted or printed by me. The 2nd and 3rd photos are close ups of the collage so you can see the textures in the papers better. The last 2 photos are work in progress photos.

This piece is really unique. The cat was from a gelli print that did not turn out how I had originally planned, but I loved it so much, I set it aside, thinking I would somehow use it. I love how this all worked out together to create, "Blue Cat's Haven."

*Size: The image of the collage measures 6"x9 3/8" and the overall size of the collage is 10"x14."

*Framing Suggestion: I would suggest having an acid free mat cut for the collage. Acid free mat board will keep the paper from yellowing with age. The mat will keep the collage away from the glass, just in case moisture gets inside the frame. And always, the best way to protect any original art piece is to be sure to not hang it in direct sunlight or close to a bright lamp which will age and fade the artwork.
