"Cat House" is a mixed media collage made up of a paper cut black cat, and painted and gelli printed embellished papers. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork.

All the papers used in this collage were painted or printed by me, except for the black paper used for the cat. The 2nd and 3rd photos are close ups of the collage so you can see the textures in the papers better. The last 2 photos are work in progress photos.

Originally, when I made this collage, I was going to make a similar small body of collages like this one, but it did not happen this year. Maybe next?

*All materials used for this collage are acid free and archival.

*Size: The collage is 8"x10," and can fit in a standard size frame, But it would be better to mat it for a larger frame. Read below.

*Framing Suggestion: I would suggest having an acid free mat cut for the collage. Acid free mat board will keep the paper from yellowing with age. The mat will keep the collage away from the glass, just in case moisture gets inside the frame. And always, the best way to protect any original art piece is to be sure to not hang it in direct sunlight or close to a bright lamp which will age and fade the artwork.
