"Seconds" are prints that have slight imperfections, but are still good quality, and perfectly suitable for hanging. They are not part of the original edition, and are discounted in price. The imperfections can be: slight over or under inking, ink marks in a background, imperfections in the paper, uneven ink or roller marks in the ink.

***For this print, the whiskers are just not as clear on both sides as I would have liked them to turn out. Even still it is a pretty print.

This is an original hand printed linocut print, titled "Enlightened." This is not a digital print, made on the computer.

**This print is dedicated to all the cats we love, who have passed away. and are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

***This print, Enlightened, was inspired by a very special cat of mine that passed away. I think that cats and other animals, as well as humans, have a soul, an unending spirit that goes on after they die, after they leave this physical life. And that at that time, they have, more of a FULL understanding as to what life, and the after life, is all about. They become "Enlightened." That is the idea behind this print.

Paper Size: 8x8"
Image Size: 6x6"

Printed with oil based block printing inks. The background color is metallic silver.

Hand printed onto archival 100% cotton paper.

***Each print is printed one at a time by hand so there are slight variations from print to print. This highlights the true handmade quality of the artwork and is part of the beauty and originality of each piece.
