"Cat House" is a mixed media collage made up of a linocut cat print and acrylic embellished colored papers. The papers were painted, gel printed or stamped. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork.

The background decorative paper behind that cat with the leaves was made from a leaf stamp I carved. The sky was gelli printed in lavender with metallic white swirly clouds. The roof and the purple side of the house was made using a secret technique I like to use with acrylic paints.

This is truly a beautiful art piece. I would not steer you wrong. I am so pleased with it. I think you will love it too.

*Size: Art is approximately 9"x10" mounted on a 12"x12 1/4" sheet of Stonehenge printing paper. The 4th photo shows the collage framed in a 16"x16" mat and frame. The collage is sold unframed.

*Framing Suggestion: I would suggest having an acid free mat cut for the collage. Acid free mat board will keep the paper from yellowing with age. The mat will keep the collage away from the glass, just in case moisture gets inside the frame. And always, the best way to protect any original art piece is to be sure to not hang it in direct sunlight or close to a bright lamp which will age and fade the artwork.
