Blue Ferns - Giclee Fine Art Print

A serene cat sits quietly amongst a forest of ferns. Shades of blue, peach and green compliment the black and white image of the kitty.

"Blue Ferns" is a limited edition giclee fine art print, digitally reproduced from one of my mixed media collages. The original collage was made up of a linocut cat print, two botanical mono prints, and acrylic embellished colored papers.

***I did my best to try to capture the color and details of this print for this listing. But I do have to say, it really is much prettier in person!

Giclee is a French term meaning "spray of ink." A fine art giclee print is a high quality reproduction created from a digital scan of an artwork, in this case, my collage. A lot of care was given to color matching the fine art print with the original artwork by my printer in order to give this print the look of the original collage. Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, a smooth and heavy weight paper (310gsm), was used, and pigmented inks. All materials are acid free and archival.

- Unframed print is 12"x12" in size. A white border around the image gives the illusion of a mat.

- Only 25 prints will be printed in this size, as this is a limited edition print. After that, the image will no longer be available in this size.

- Each print is numbered and signed on the bottom, under the collage image.
